During our time in business, we have provided training in many ways. Our flagship program is Watchdog School. It is a series of courses for independent activists working locally and ready to meet the ethical standards of watchdogs.
Another form of training is Hope(lessness) of the small and large municipality. This is an online course for anyone interested in local politics and the quality of local governance.
In previous years, we provided courses to prepare local activists to conduct the monitoring of the “cap fund”, sports financing and the operation of local companies.
We also conducted other courses for watchdog organizations along with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. It was a hybrid in-person and online course “On Guard”.
However, most people attended our courses and meetings all over Poland, of which we conducted about 300 over the years. These were training courses and meetings about the right to information, tools for residents to act, the village fund, but also exercising the law, which were attended by about 6,000 people.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the format of the courses we provide. Starting from 2020, our events are hosted mainly in the form of webinars and livestreams, which have benefited even more people.
